How to generate a returns portal token
The returns portal token is a long-lived key your storefront uses to authenticate against the OrderKrab returns portal, letting customers submit return requests themselves. Generating a new token invalidates the previous one.

In the sidebar, click Returns and open the Settings tab.

In the Returns portal tokens card, find your shop's row.

Click Generate token. The token is created and copied to your clipboard automatically.

Paste the token into your storefront's returns portal configuration.

Need it again? Click Copy. Need a fresh one? Click Regenerate — the old token stops working immediately.
Good to know
- For security, the token value is never displayed on screen — it only goes to your clipboard.
- A connected Shopify or WooCommerce shop is required.
