How to pack orders without Pick and Pack (LABELS plan)
Pick and Pack is a PRO feature, but you don't need it to ship orders. On the LABELS plan (or whenever you prefer a manual flow) fulfillment is three actions: Initiate Shipment to generate the label, Download Label to get the PDF, and Set as Fulfilled once the parcel is packed — one order at a time or in bulk.

Pick a ready order. Open Orders and choose an order in Pending Fulfillment — that status means a label can be generated. (Orders showing Waiting for Shipping Method need a delivery method first.)

Generate the label. On the order page, click Initiate Shipment (the primary button, top right). OrderKrab creates the shipping label with the order's carrier and the status changes to Being Fulfilled.

Get the label. Open the … menu and, under Labels, click Download Label to save the PDF. Print it on any printer and stick it on the parcel.

Pack the order. Collect the items listed on the Order items card and pack them. The tracking code appears on the Shipping card.

Mark it done. In the … menu, click Set as Fulfilled — a "Order is being fulfilled, it may take up to 1 minute." confirmation appears and the order becomes Fulfilled.

Prefer batches? On the Orders page select several Pending Fulfillment orders and click Initiate Shipments → Initiate. Then re-select them and use More → Download Labels for one combined PDF of every label; after packing, finish with the Set as Fulfilled bulk action.

Hand the parcels to your carrier — generate a manifest or schedule a courier pickup from the Shipping page.
Good to know
- "Set as Fulfilled" means "packing is finished, ready to hand to the courier" — not "delivered." Always mark an order fulfilled once it's packed: this pushes the fulfillment to your connected store, and the store (e.g. Shopify) then emails the customer their tracking code. It does not mean the parcel has arrived — OrderKrab tracks packing and dispatch, not delivery, so check the tracking code any time to see where the parcel is.
- Direct printing to a label printer (Print Label, PrintKrab, the Printer settings tab) is a PRO feature — on LABELS you download the PDF and print it with your regular printer.
- If label generation fails, the order gets the Needs Attention status with an error banner — correct the address or method and initiate again.
- Initiated an order by mistake? Reset Fulfillment returns it to the queue. The Auto-reset "Being Fulfilled" status setting in Settings → Fulfillment does this automatically for orders left unfinished too long.
