How to pack orders using Pick and Pack
Pick and Pack is OrderKrab's guided packing workflow: it walks you through the fulfillment queue order by order, confirms items by barcode scan, and prints each label automatically — roughly 3× faster than manual fulfillment. Get the station ready. Check the sidebar shows PrintKrab: Active and Label Printer: Ready, and have your barcode scanner at hand. The Pick and Pack button is disabled (with the reason shown) when the queue is empty, PrintKrab isn't running, the printer is offline, or an unfinished fulfillment is still active.

Start a session. Click the big Pick and Pack button at the top of the sidebar (or Start Pick and Pack on the Dashboard).

Filter and sort the queue (optional). In the Pick and Pack filters window, narrow the queue by shop, shipping options, and shop locations — the Opening queue of N orders counter updates live. Pick the Sort order (Oldest first or Newest first), then click Start packing.

The first order loads full-screen with its items listed under SCAN OR CLICK ITEM TO CONFIRM. Pick each item off the shelf and scan its barcode/SKU (or click it) — one scan confirms one unit, and the pending quantity counts down. For lines with many units, use Confirm all to confirm the whole line at once.

The label prints automatically once every item is confirmed — the status pill switches to SCAN LABEL TO COMPLETE FULFILLMENT. Pack the items into the parcel and stick on the label.

Scan the printed shipping label to complete the order — the next order in the queue loads by itself. (You can also click COMPLETE AND LOAD NEXT.)

Repeat until the queue is empty. Something missing? Click Skip Order and keep going — skipped orders wait for you with the Skipped status. Need context mid-order? The Comments and Shipments buttons in the top bar show notes and extra shipments without leaving the flow.

Finish up. On your last order click COMPLETE AND EXIT. Then hand the parcels to your carrier — generate a manifest or schedule a courier pickup from the Shipping page.
Good to know

- To pack one specific order, open it and click Fulfill in Pick and Pack — single mode skips the queue.
- If a previous session left an order Being Fulfilled, resolve it first — the Dashboard shows an active fulfillment banner with a shortcut.
- Scan feedback: an unknown code shows Unrecognized barcode, an already-confirmed item shows Item already confirmed!, and the wrong label shows Wrong shipping code. A Labels Printed badge in the top bar warns if the order's label was already printed before — check for duplicates.
- If scanning is disabled in Settings (auto-confirm mode), items don't need confirmation — the label prints when the order loads. The cooldown between scans is configurable in Settings → Fulfillment → Scanner delay between scans.
- Pick and Pack is a PRO plan feature and needs PrintKrab with a connected label printer.
