How to troubleshoot printing problems
Most printing problems come down to PrintKrab not running, a driver issue, or an uncalibrated printer. Here's the checklist.
- 1
Check the sidebar indicators. PrintKrab: Offline means the desktop app isn't running — start PrintKrab on the computer with the printer. Label Printer: Offline means no printer was found — check the cable and power.
- 2
In Settings → Printer, click Refresh list to re-scan for printers.
- 3
If the printer prints garbage or misaligns labels, calibrate it: open Resources → Label Printer calibration videos, select your model (TSC DA210, Zebra ZD220, Godex G500, Xprinter XP-420B), and follow the video.
- 4
If the printer isn't detected at all, reinstall its driver via Resources → Official Label Printer drivers (TSC, Zebra, Godex, Xprinter links).
- 5
Run a Test print from the printer's settings to confirm the fix.
- 6
Barcode scanner acting up? Resources → Qoltec scanner factory reset QR code shows a QR you scan to reset a Qoltec scanner to factory defaults.
Good to know
- During Pick and Pack, a label error dialog offers Retry, Skip Order, and Exit to Dashboard so a printer hiccup never blocks your whole queue.
